General Service Information

What types of services can Taskrabbit provide for my business or customer? 

Taskrabbit offers a wide range of services, including Furniture Assembly, Mounting, Indoor Painting, Heavy Lifting and Loading, and more.

How quickly will the customer be contacted after a booking? 

A Taskrabbit team member will reach out to the customer within 24 business hours of the booking.

Booking & Scheduling Requirements

How much lead time is required for a task? 

At least 2 business days (Monday–Friday) of notice is required between the booking date and the requested task date. We will try to accommodate requests sooner, but cannot guarantee availability. 

How long do these larger assembly tasks typically take? 

Many of these tasks are completed over multiple days, averaging between 2 to 4 days.

What is expected regarding scheduling flexibility? 

Customers should provide as much flexibility as possible regarding the dates and times for the task.

Customer Responsibilities

What does the customer need to do to finalize their account? 

The customer must complete their account setup at taskrabbit.com and ensure a credit card is added to their profile. A credit card is required to book future tasks, such as Mounting, Heavy Lifting and Loading, and other tasks through the General Marketplace. 

What do I need to provide?

A cleared space to build and any mounting equipment or hardware required for the assembly. 

What should the customer do to prepare the workspace? 

All boxes and items must be placed in the specific room where they will be assembled before the Taskers arrive.

What are the expectations for communication? 

Customers are advised to be highly responsive via email and phone throughout the entire fulfillment process.

Service Guidelines & Limitations

What are Taskers responsible for during a prepaid IKEA Assembly? 

Taskers are responsible for unboxing, assembling, and mounting items. 

Is trash and box removal included in the service? 

No, Taskers are not responsible for cleaning up boxes or removing trash once the assembly is finished. Taskers can be hired at their hourly rate for trash removal, and our team would be happy to set up that appointment for you.

Ensure that the list of items provided for the assembly request is complete and 100% accurate.
